Task 1_Food From The Earth

Apart from plants, animals and animals, we see different things around us. We see the sun, moon and stars in the sky. But there was a time when these things were not there. That time was before the Big Bang event. At that time there was neither time nor space. 12 to 14 billion years ago, our entire universe was confined to a single point. Now the biggest question is that when nothing existed in the world, how did so many things come into existence? We will try to answer these questions through Big Bang theory.

Big Bang

The Big Bang theory was proposed by Georges LemaĆ®tre in 1927. In 1929, a scientist named Edwin Hubble analyzed and studied this theory. Stephen Hawking explained it like this, about 15 billion years ago, the entire universe was reduced to a single point. Or simply understand that the particles and energy due to which the creation of the whole world became possible, were included in a small ball-like thing. Then suddenly an event happened and the particles present in the point spread in all directions. These particles rapidly started running away from each other. This event itself is known as Big Bang. By the way, some people consider the Big Bang as a great explosion and say that the world was born from a great explosion. But this is not correct. The fact is that all of a sudden the expansion of the collapsed point of the universe started which is continuing till now.

What Earth Offer Us

It is said that our society is built on the blessings of nature. It is said that protecting nature means continuing to receive the blessings of nature and making our society sustainable. In the world, in addition to natural science and social science, we integrate empirical knowledge (also called traditional knowledge) created by indigenous peoples and local communities to understand the blessings and dangers of nature, and to continue to receive the blessings of nature. There is also a movement to think of ways to protect nature. Food, clothing and shelter, which are indispensable to our lives, are overflowing with things derived from nature. Clean air, drinking water, food, wood for building houses, and materials for clothing all come from nature. Among them, isn't food especially one of the symbols of nature's blessings.

However, for people who usually buy food at supermarkets, especially those who live in the city center, they can only imagine how food is in nature, and they feel that it is natural to sell it. it might be. The rice and vegetables sold in supermarkets are certainly grown in the natural environment of fields. Furthermore, there are creatures such as eels that cannot be farmed completely by human hands, and vegetables and fruits such as tomatoes and blueberries that cannot bear fruit without the presence of bumblebees are also lined up. These ingredients cannot be obtained without nature. It can be said that nature itself is a "general supermarket".

At this time humans are very creative in utilizing natural resources, especially in the culinary field. Various types of food with various ingredients and processing methods are characteristic of every region around the world. For example, from the area where I come from, there is a food called "Cimpa Karo". Cimpa is a typical cake of the Karo tribe which is usually served when there are parties, be it a family gathering party (Perpulungen), to a large traditional party such as a wedding or work year (Merdang merdem), a party entering a new house. So this Cimpa can also be called a cake that we can get and enjoy when there is a party, funeral, or other big event, so it can be said that Cimpa is one of the symbols of the specialties of eating Karo.
